The cooperative company was founded in 1973 as a subsidiary of Milchhof and is owned by farmers. Its mission is to market the products of its own production and those of others. A key share of turnover is achieved with international trade in milk products, which has however extended over the years to include other food products.
Two additional companies are attached to Oberland eG, with their focus on regional and national distribution. One is Miesbacher Gastroservice (Molkereivertrieb Miesbach), which is a regional fresh food service, and the other is Landmann Marketing und Vertriebs GmbH, which specialises in marketing and distributing international specialities for the German food sector.

In order to be able to process and market the milk gathered in the region themselves, some farmers from the area founded Milchhof Miesbach in 1926. Since 1997 milk processing has been carried out by partner companies. Milchhof is a cooperative company with over 400 members. The annual milk volume is ca. 40 million kg of conventional milk, most of which is mountain-fresh farmer’s milk. In addition, ca. 10 million kg of organic cheese are also produced.
Landmann Marketing und Vertriebs GmbH is a subsidiary of Milchproduktenhandel Oberland eG and is your contact for the marketing of international specialities. The company supplies the retail and wholesale trade in the German market. The wide range includes classic cheese specialities and milk products as well as other food products such as Italian pesto and tuna fish.
